Protecting All Children's Teeth (PACT): A Pediatric Oral Health Training Program
Why This Curriculum?
Why Oral Health?
Why is Oral Health Important?
Why Pediatricians?
Pediatrician’s interactions with young children provide an opportunity for anticipatory guidance, screening, and health maintenance.
Why This Curriculum?
With this curriculum, we aim to educate pediatricians, pediatricians in training, and others interested in infant, child, and adolescent health about the important role that oral health plays in the overall health of our patients.

The goal of this curriculum is not to train pediatricians to become dentists, but to become more knowledgeable about child oral health, more competent in providing oral health guidance and preventive care, and more comfortable sharing the responsibility of oral health with dental colleagues.
