To improve the health of all children and families in their communities, reduce health disparities, and promote health equity as a basic right.

The Council on Community Pediatrics is led by an elected Executive Committee, and appointed Special Interest Group Chairs and Liaisons. COCP leaders oversee all Council initiatives, including the development of policy, education, and general member activities.
