Special Interest Groups

Council on Community Pediatrics (COCP) Special Interest Groups (SIGS) develop education, policy, and membership initiatives for specific priorities in community pediatrics.
COCP members can get involved in the activities of the following Special Interest Groups (SIGs).

• Immigrant Health: advancing pediatric practice and advocacy for immigrant children
• Prevention & Public Health: connecting clinical pediatrics with public health
• Rural Health: maintaining a network for rural health pediatricians
• Indian Health: mobilizing pediatricians who serve Native American children
• Community Pediatrics Education and Training: applying community pediatrics to medical student and resident training

HOW TO JOIN A SIG
Membership is available to all COCP members at no additional cost. Please email COCP staff your name, email address, and the SIG you would like to join.
