PACT has been developed to educate primary care pediatricians and other child health professionals about the important role that oral health plays in a child's overall health.
With this curriculum, we aim to educate pediatricians, pediatricians in training, and others interested in the important role that oral health plays in the overall health of young patients.
The goal of this curriculum is not to train pediatricians to become dentists, but to become more knowledgeable about child oral health, more competent in providing oral health guidance and preventive care, and more comfortable sharing the responsibility of oral health
with dental colleagues.
