AUDIENCE
All Health care professionals This includes pediatricians, family practice physicians, nurse practitioners, and others providing primary care for children and teens. Mental health professionals This includes social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, and others providing mental health care for children and teens. Child welfare professionals This includes pediatricians, other physicians in medical specialties, child advocates, psychologists, and therapists. Judges, attorneys, or child advocates This includes all legal professionals, including judges, attorneys, guardian ad litems (GALs), Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), and other child advocates. Policymakers and administrators This includes professionals working at the national, state, and local level to develop policies and affect change for children in foster care, among others. Children and families This includes infants, children, teens, foster care alumni, birth parents, foster parents, and other caregivers. AAP Chapters This includes American Academy of Pediatrics Chapters working at the state and local level to affect change.
