AAP Section on Infectious Diseases
The Section on Infectious Diseases (SOID) is dedicated to developing ideas and educational forums to improve the care of newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults impacted by infectious diseases. The Section is comprised of both general pediatricians and pediatricians board certified/eligible in infectious diseases. The Section offers many learning opportunities related to infectious diseases. Additional information can be found on the SOID Web site.
AAP Section on Administration and Practice Management
The AAP Section on Administration and Practice Management (SOAPM) provides a venue for pediatricians and their practice managers to improve pediatric practice management skills. SOAPM leaders provide practice management expertise throughout the country at chapter meetings and independent workshops. SOAPM's active LISTSERV allows for interactive dialogue among members to identify best practices related to practice management. This frequently includes discussion about immunization administration and management.
