Pentacel®, DAPTACEL®, and Adacel® Shortages

The CDC reports that GSK has adequate supplies of Infanrix (infant DTaP), Boostrix (adolescent Tdap) and Pediarix (DTaP+Hep B+IPV) to meet the demands for pertussis containing vaccine needs. GSK and Merck both have adequate supplies of their Hib products. Since supply of vaccines through multiple vendors is adequate to meet demands, no alteration in the vaccine schedule is necessary.
