2015 Call for Abstracts
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 10, 2015 at 11:59 PM EST

The Council on Clinical Information Technology (COCIT) is accepting abstracts on pediatric informatics research including projects on the use of information technology (IT) in child health: clinical practice, health services delivery and/or public health (including the use of IT by patients). Preference is given (but are not restricted) to submissions which demonstrate the impact (i.e. data) of the use of health IT on child health. All AAP members are welcome to join this session to learn how to affect change in vendors. The afternoon panel of presenters will share their unique, real-world experiences and offer practical tips for how to negotiate this process. The morning portion of the session will feature a series of scientific abstract presentations and will culminate with the presentation of the Best Podium Presentation Award. A poster viewing session and announcement of the Best Poster Presentation Award will complete the program activities.
