The ARRA directs funds to support the adoption, implementation and effective use of Health Information Technology (HIT). The AAP has advocated and will continue to advocate for appropriate incentives and other provisions to ensure that pediatricians and children are represented in important decisions relative to HIT. Meaningful Use Attestation

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology has issued draft versions of the screen shots for the attestation website for providers to attest whether they are meaningful users.
