Teen Bill of Rights

This website offers Federally-developed interactive tools and other resources to help community organizations and partnerships in your efforts to support youth. Included are tools and resources to help you form effective partnerships, assess community assets, understand risk factors and protective factors, generate maps of local and Federal resources, and search for evidence-based youth programs.

Guttmacher Institute
The Guttmacher Institute publishes information about state's policies regarding minor's consent laws and adolescent access to certain sexual health services.

Minors’ Access Cards
The Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health has developed short summaries of the reproductive health laws in 11 states.

National Adolescent Health Information Center (NAHIC) - provides fact sheets with current data on adolescents. These data may be helpful for preparing lectures or for medical student or resident education. Recently revised fact sheets include substance abuse and reproductive health.

Parenting Teens Online (a FREE resource for parents): This monthly publication with weekly updates provides cross-cutting information on adolescent health topics you discuss with parents in your office. Subscriptions to this publication are free

Partnership for a Drug-Free America - providing up-to-date information on adolescent drug and alcohol issues and trends

Society for Adolescent Medicine - a multidisciplinary organization of health professionals who are committed to advancing the health and well-being of adolescents

Technical Assistance Resources at University of Rochester - includes sample patient questionnaires in English and Spanish, a sample confidentiality policy, and obesity resources

www.teenhealthfx.com
This is health Web site geared towards youth and their health.  They also have developed a web page one for youth with diabetes.  In the “About Us” menu you can read this and more:
“TeenHealthFX.com is a project funded by Atlantic Health’s - Morristown Memorial Hospital and Overlook Hospital. The site is maintained with input from teenagers and support from community leaders. Atlantic's Community Health Education Department and the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at the Goryeb Children's Hospital are responsible for the content and operation of the site. The goal of TeenHealthFX is to provide teens with an online resource for any and all of their questions regarding health, relationships, their body and their sexuality.”
