Membership
Section
membership is only available to members of the American Academy
of Pediatrics (AAP) in good standing. Not all sections accept
all AAP member types. Refer to the Section
Affiliate-Section Membership Information/Application for
more information. The Section waives the section membership
dues for Post-Residency Training Fellows, Emeritus Fellows,
and Retired Fellows.
Section Affiliate Membership
Section affiliate membership is available to those not eligible
for AAP Fellowship. Applicants for section affiliation must
meet the qualifications and requirements stipulated by the
respective section bylaws and the AAP Board of Directors.
Training fellows (ie, Post-Residency Training Fellows and Candidate Fellows) are required to submit a letter from the training program director verifying their status.
