What is Home Care?
 It is any kind of health care, personal care, or assistance with independent living given to functionally impaired, disabled, or ill persons in their own home. The goal is to improve the quality of life and keep the children out of the hospital (facility) and keep them safely at home.

Our Mission: The Section is dedicated to providing general pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists with an understanding of the basic principles and emerging developments in pediatric home care, with an emphasis on family-centered care.
