Membership in the section is open to fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics who are actively engaged in some aspect of care and/or study of infectious diseases in the fetus, infants, children, and adolescents and who are interested in contributing to the objectives of the section. The Section is comprised of both general pediatricians and pediatricans board certified/eligible in infectious diseases.  The section currently has approximately 700 members.  Dues are assessed annually and are currently $25.
