Editor's Corner
Welcome to the COCM website. Our primary aim is to be a resource for pediatricians who work in the media, as print, on-line, or broadcast journalists, and/or care about the effects of media on child and adolescent health and development.
In addition, since most of this site is open to the public, it can provide information to patients, parents, and the general public about media’s effects and how pediatricians can effectively interact with and use media – in all its forms.
The website and its companion blog flesh out these issues. The website is informational while the blog is a more personal op-ed forum. Both areas will be regularly updated by our COCM Editorial Advisory Board to help keep you up to date on the latest studies and media issues.
We will be adding new features and new links to the site and look forward to your comments and to your readership.
