the PEDS 21 and SOOr Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness venues.

INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH

Mentored Scholarship Program

The AAP Section on Orthopaedics (SOOr) offers awards of up to $1,500 to orthopaedic residents and pediatric
orthopaedic fellows in the United States and Canada who are interested in providing musculoskeletal care to
children in resource-poor regions of the world. The scholarship program facilitates mentored experiences for
young surgeons in training.

Applications are accepted from July 1 thru November 1.
Successful applicants are notified by December 15.
