The best way to get connected
and stay in touch with the latest information on pediatric telehealth
care is to join the Section on Telehealth Care. Section membership is open
to all Academy members with an interest in improving the use of
telephone medicine, e-mail, and telemedicine in the delivery of cost-effective, efficient,
high-quality pediatric care.
Learn more about the SOTC from our membership flyer. Pediatricians can join the SOTC. An application
for section membership can be accessed online through the AAP Web site (you will need to log-in to the MyAAP member center).
Nurses, Call Center Administrators, Office Managers, etc can join the SOTC. An application for section affiliate membership can be accessed online through the AAP Web site (you will need to log-in to the MyAAP member center) or by clicking the links below. An applicant for Section Affiliate Membership must submit the following with his/her application form:

items on telephone care usually sell out at the NCE. Section members
are the first to know about seminars, meet the expert sessions, and
section program for members.
- SOTC
newsletter sent twice annually -
Keeps members updated on section activities, provides a journal scan
of the latest research on telephone care, and new on upcoming events.
- Affiliate members also receive a subscription to AAP News, the AAP's monthly newsmagazine.
