Are you interested in becoming a leader in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Medical Students, Residents and Fellowship Trainees (SOMSRFT)? Each year the section recruits interested residents and fellowship trainees into leadership positions. The following positions are open:

10 positions open, 1 representing each district of the AAP
(1-year term)

Applications for vice chairperson and secretary MUST be submitted by October 1, 2015. Candidates are invited to give a 2-3-minute speech at the SOMSRFT meeting on Saturday, October 24, 2015 .

Candidates for district coordinator and assistant district coordinator positions are strongly encouraged to submit applications by October 1, 2015. Persons who have not submitted an application may still run for a position if present at the SOMSRFT Annual Assembly on October 24. However, preference will be given to those that apply by the October 1 deadline. Candidates must be present on October 24 to run for these positions.
